Advertising has changed significantly since the introduction of the Internet. In the past, advertising mediums such as radio, print, and television ads dominated companies’ marketing plans. As the Internet gained prevalence, more and more of companies’ money has been siphoned into email, social media, and Pay Per Click advertising. In recent years, this has led to marketers placing more and more weight on analysis like Click Through Rate, Cost Per Click, and Cost Per Acquisition.
